Neutral interior

Let's begin with something basic. Let's create a neutral interior. Neutral interiors is the first thing the designer have to learn. Because it's the most common solution for homes and apartments, it's perfect for sale or for rent. Also, the design can be easily transformed in the future and be pesonalised by decor and textile. In the design we will focus on basic elements like materials of floors, walls, ceiling, doors and windows, basic funriture, and appliances. The things which is difficult to change better to make neutral always. Pieces easy to change will give you the space for creativity: small standing furniture, shelves, textile, decor, lighting, hangers, knobs, etc.

Styles

Scandinavian, Classic, Transitional, Minimalism, Wabisabi, Japandi would be perfect for neutral interior.

Flooring

Choose light colors. That could be natural woods or immitation, light floor tile with a neutral texture. Better when your flooring looks solid and do not attract the attention.

Walls

Guess what, it's unnecessary to choose white walls only. Walls can bring more life in your room if you use colors. Choose light shades of beige, gray, blue, green, etc. Even black or dark gray colors might be neutral. Colors should not be vibrant. You can use wallpapers with a neutral print as well.

Ceiling

Better to choose white ceiling or something super light. Avoid constructions like multi-level ceiling and other bright elements which is attract an attention.

Doors and windows

The same rule here. Prefer light wood or light colors of frames. Nice solution is invisible doors.

Furniture

Choose furniture pieces according to style you choose or something super neutral.

Textile, lighting, decor

Balance elements with your interior, but create contrast using different textures and layers. It will make your interior more interesting.
